Saltlick Outdoors is a family owned and operated Outfitter located in Northeast Kentucky, bordered by the Ohio River and within the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain in prime Whitetail and Turkey Habitat. Hunting and Habitat management is our passion, but our main focus is sharing our love of the outdoors with new hunters and teaching them the importance of Conservation while passing on the knowledge we've gained over the years. We provide deep discounts for new/first time Hunters, whether you're 8 or 80, male or female, it doesn't matter to us, we want you to enjoy the sport the way that we do. We personally own and manage all the land that we hunt on to ensure the best possible experience for every person that hunts with us. We also don't overhunt our land, we offer a very limited number of Whitetail hunts each year in order to preserve our deer age structure, and tirelessly work to maintain a very high genetic standard. All of our hunts are 100% fair chase, we spend countless hours improving our properties and maintaining year round food sources to keep our deer herd numbers high. We don't provide canned hunts, hunting is hard, and we encourage all of our guests to hunt hard and put in the time needed to be successful. We help by developing a unique strategy for all of our guests on an individual basis based on level of experience, physical limitations, time of year, and weather patterns. Our packages are for the most part all inclusive; we provide airport pickup and transportation (for guests traveling from out of state), lodging, food, drinks, a personal guide (all of which are licensed in the State of Kentucky), and field dressing and quartering of harvested animals for all Whitetail hunts (Hunting Licenses and Gratuites for staff are not included). We are very much Family oriented, and understand the enjoyment that comes with sharing your experience with your family, as such; we encourage hunters to make it a family trip. Bring your wife, husband, kids, and in some cases grandparents (we charge a small daily fee for non-hunters). We only book one group at a time and can accommodate up to 8 guests.
